Walkers Shortbread Joins Lady Mendl's Tea Salon at The Inn at Irving Place in NYC for Week Long Holiday Celebration

WHO: Walkers Shortbread, a favorite with cookie connoisseurs the world over, joins Lady Mendl's Tea Salon in a celebration of the holiday season.

WHAT: The Victorian elegance of Lady Mendl's will be the charming setting for five course high teas including delicate and delicious sandwiches, fresh baked scones, clotted crÃ¨me and jams along with a collection of fine teas. Special dessert offerings will include Walkers Strathspey Fruit Cake and Meringues filled with chef prepared fruit toppings as well as the award-winning shortbread.

Tea salon guests will have a chance to win a gift basket filled with Walkers products as well as a Teddy Bear dressed in the company's internationally famous red tartan plaid and will leave with a complimentary packet of shortbread.

A series of authors, Mara Purl, Laurie Wagner Buyer, Marva Allen and tea expert/author Ellen Easton will make in-person appearances on Wednesday, December 10th. Ms. Easton will also be on hand on Thursday, December 11th.

WHERE: The Inn at Irving Place is situated at 56 Irving Place between 17th and 18th Streets just south of Gramercy Park in one of New York City's most historic neighborhoods.
