(I-TravelNewswire.Com, June 22, 2012 ) New York, NY -- Summer is here. The kids are out of school, temperatures are rising and Moms and Dads everywhere are trying to get the kids to play outside. It can be a battle to get kids to put down the electronics and play outdoors, so to help parents out DadDoes.com has released its guide to the Best Summer Toys of 2012.
DadDoes.Com is a product review site that reviews everything from toys to video games and more. All of the reviews are done in real world settings – parents and children use the product for weeks and then report back on the pros and cons. This approach to product reviews allows DadDoes.com to provide honest and real product reviews, from a parents point of view.
In creating their Guide to Best Summer Toys of 2012 DadDoes.Com looked for toys that would get kids excited to play outdoors. Toys that kids grew bored of quickly, did not make the cut. In order to be in the Outdoor Toy Guide, the toy had to keep the children engaged and excited.
“As every parent knows, there are tons of toys that are marketed as great outdoor toys for the summer. The problem is, kids will bore very quickly of a toy that has little play value and is just a gimmick. We searched for toys that were fun and kids wanted to continue to play with, even after our testing was done” states Dan Nessel of DadDoes.Com
Here is rundown of some of the Outdoor Toys that made the list…
· Razor FlashRider 360 · Rockboard Scooter · Razor Vapor Delta 500 Blaster · National Geographic Explorer Toys · Nerf Super Soaker Water Guns · Air Hunterz Z-Curve Bow

Nessel explained that the Outdoor Toy Guide is a living guide. The guide was launched on June 20th, 2012, but new toys will be added to it on a daily basis throughout the summer. Dad Does is still actively reviewing and testing new toys for the summer, and the toys that have strong play value will be added to the guide.
Nessel concludes, “Getting kids to put down the iPad, iPhone, Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS can be a real challenge for parents. Just telling kids they need to play outside is a losing battle. Give kids options outside that are more fun than what they could do inside. We hope that our Outdoor Toy Guide has enough toy options to get any kid begging to play outside this summer.”
