(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 16, 2010 ) MERLIN, OREGON – Once the snow finally melts and green begins to re-surface, there is nothing better – or more deserved – than some outdoor activity. And, whitewater rafting down the friendly, yet exhilarating class-three waters of the Rogue River is a trip soaked with adventure and warm weather pleasure. For decades, Rogue River Raft Trips has been guiding whitewater rafting trips on the picturesque Rogue, a river beginning in the Cascade Mountains and ending at the Pacific Ocean. Each tour follows the recreation section of the Rogue, allowing adventurers of all ages to easily participate. In addition to the half and full day rafting trips, Rogue River Raft Trips offers multi-day packages, allowing groups to get out of the daily hubbub of city living and back into nature for an extended period of time. Some packages provide lodging at Morrison’s Rogue River Lodge while others allow guests to camp under the stars. All “Splash and Dash” packages include lodging, three meals each day and all the equipment needed for a safe, memorable rafting excursion. Single trips begin at Morrison’s Rogue River Lodge and end 44 miles downriver at Foster Bar. At the end of the journey, a shuttle takes each group back to the lodge. If rafting just doesn’t cut it for the next Southern Oregon vacation, Morrison’s also offers fishing, bird watching, hiking trails and dining fit for a king.
