SummerÂ’s Here, What to do with the kids?

(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 05, 2010 ) Boise, Idaho Â– Housing an aspiring actor or adrenaline junkie? This summer sites around Boise are offering a host of fascinating and unique chances to get the kids out of the house and into some fun.

Splish Spalsh. Roaring Springs Water Park gets the kids into the pool during their 3 splash camps. To continue their experiential education sign the youngsters up for the Jr. Lifeguards or Discovery with a Splash. For a more adventurous option the Summer Sports camp lets kids try their hands at scuba diving and kayaking. Not to worry if your little one is still new to the pool, small-sized swim classes are also available.

Lights, Camera, Camp? For the drama kings and queens Shakespeare Idaho Festival has just the thing: Camp Shakespeare, Camp Improv and Camp Musical. Camp Shakespeare is broken down into five groupings each focused on a specific age range and interests. Kids as young as 3 can advance their acting educations this summer

The little scientist will love the possibilities offered at the Discovery Center of Idaho this summer. With at least 13 types of camps ranging from Archaeology to Astronomy kids from kindergarten to Jr. High will be running to the car each morning. Have a future zoologist or space explorer at home, try wildlife biology offered in connection with Zoo Boise or let them pretend be an astronaut at Space camp. Little engineers can tinker around with toy-making or robotics.

Head to Boise this summer and while the kids are busy at camps discover the grown-up adventures awaiting your arrival.
