 (EMAILWIRE.COM, October 11, 2011 ) New York, NY -- New York TimesÂ’ bestselling author, Sue Grafton has announced her twenty-second Kinsey Milhone novel, V is for Vengeance. Private investigator Kinsey Milhone will make her comeback on November 14, 2011 in the United States. Published by A Marian Wood Book and Putnam, V is for Vengeance is the most recent book of the alphabet mystery series.
Sue Grafton’s custody battle due to a painful divorce led the author from California to channel her feelings into writing. The award-winning writer has done twenty two books in the alphabet series. The first mystery novel is the “A is for Alibi,” which was published in 1982. It was followed by “B is for Burglar” in 1985.” And “V is for Vengeance,” being the latest in the set of mystery books. However, readers do not necessarily have to read the books in chronological order.
V is for Vengeance is set in the 1980s in the fictional city of Santa Teresa, California and features the female detective, Kinsey Milhone. The book finds a statement made by the private eye Kinsey, “I know there are people who believe you should forgive and forget. For the record, I'd like to say I'm a big fan of forgiveness as long as I'm given the opportunity to get even first.”
