 (EMAILWIRE.COM, October 12, 2011 ) New York, NY -- According to the Daddy Blog, DadDoes.Com, the 2011 Holiday Season will be filled with RC toys of all types. Remote control cars have always been a popular toy for kids ages 5 and up, but this year, the range of RC vehicles has greatly expanded.
Air Hogs Hawk Eye Blue Sky Video Plane is a remote controlled plane that has a built in camera that can shoot video and still photos. The plane uses a 2.4 Ghz remote which allows it to have great range and precise controls.
Dad Does tested the Hawk Eye Blue Sky plane and found it to be a fun plane to to fly. In addition, the video capture function of the plane worked without issue. All in all, DadDoes.Com rated the Hawk Eye Blue Sky plane a 4 out of 5.
“The Hawk Eye Blue Sky does take some practice to fly. It is rated for ages 12 and up and expert level pilots. In our testing, this seemed to be good advice. Kids under 12 may be frustrated at the skill needed to fly the plane without crashing. The Squeeler RC Stunt Car is a complete different type of RC toy. The Squeeler is a stunt car with huge balloon tires. Unlike the Hawk Eye Blue Sky, which a person tries not to crash, the Squeeler was made to be crashed into things. The car can do flips, jumps, spins and crashes without ever getting stuck.
Nessel states. “The Squeeler was a huge hit with our testers. The ability to flip the car, drive on two wheels and crash through anything made the toy very fun to play with.”
While many of the toy reviews on Dad Does have focused on RC toys, Dad Does has also found a number of no tech toys that they believe will be a hit this holiday season. The Squishable Animals are simply large, round stuffed animals that kids (and adults) just love to hug.
Nessel concludes, “The squishable stuffed animals prove that you don’t need a high tech toy this holiday season to make kids happy. Sometimes having a cute toy that they can hug is all they really need. Of course, other times they need RC cars and planes that they can fly, drive and crash.”
